    Kalon got rebounding.
You say, "Stay a while and listen."
    Unleashed Nin'Kharsag at Kalon.
The apparition points a ghastly hand at Kalon.

    Kalon rebounding down.
Kalon stops unearthing a shard, his concentration ruined.
Kalon concentrates and, using his mind alone, causes glowing letters to manifest, forming the word EEP.
The letters glow with power and Kalon disappears in a flash.

    Would a hazeward stop this?

Yes, you can only stack commands within a QUEUE, if the QUEUE is the first command sent. Else it'll only queue what's immediately after the queue command and cut off after the first separator. Kinda annoying
  • IniarIniar Australia
I guess you could send them separately since if you're queuing its unlikely you'll need it in that .05 to .2 s delay. send("thing//thing") send("queue eqbal things//things//things")

  • @Leikara

Certain mobiles have attacks that heal them. With the Moroi, it looks like it's  the "A raging moroi sinks his claws into the left side of your chest, attempting to rip your heart out." message.

If you can't overwhelm the healing rate, you can spam attacks into it and hope for a lucky streak of no-heals, bring a friend, or just skip those mobiles.

"On the battlefield I am a god. I love war. The steel, the smell, the corpses. I wish there were more. On the first day I drove the Northmen back alone at the ford. Alone! On the second I carried the bridge! Me! Yesterday I climbed the Heroes! I love war! I… I wish it wasn’t over."

  • So, I had someone ask me this and I can't seem to find the answer in any help file. For items like Chandeliers or Lanterns you can set a Lighting Message (person), Lighting Message (room) and Lit Desc. But I can't figure out the syntax to set it in a design. As in.

Design ### set appearance a chandelier
Design ### set ??? You light a chandelier.

Design items that can be lit have the following properties that do not exist for other items: litdesc, lightingmessage

HELP DESIGN COMMANDS currently contains the attributes that can be set. Design documentation is on my list of things to work on. If you have particular suggestions regarding design documentations, feel free to post/message/idea.

I believe you are asking where the newbie instructors are. There is no "combat" instructor. There are currently three instructor-type mobs.

instructor Mark, in Transk, teaches about using salves.
instructor Marsha, also in Transk, teaches about using herbs.
defense instructor Marvin, near the Coliseum, teaches about using defenses.

@Eoghan is a little confused, but mostly right.

Mark is our Herbalist trainer, and Marsha is our Elixir/Salve trainer. Every lowbie will get the quest to learn from them.
  • I am considering saving up for a tradeskill. Any specific special aspects to how they work here? I'm very familiar with the Aetolian crafting system and mildly familiar with the Lusternian one. What is most profitable? What has the widest range of fun designs? Are there any tradeskill niches that haven't been explored but could be fun? What kind of stuff can you do with tradeskills here without owning a shop?

At your skill levels, a trade skill honestly is not an investment of credits that I believe is justified, especially as there is very little profit to be found in it, especially when you do not own a shop.

Almost all of the money you get from designing things will be from commissions, when somebody like Azefel or Iluv or me pays you to come up with a design for a customized artifact or a tradeskill item or house rooms or whatever. That can actually pay pretty well, and if you do good work there's definitely a market for that. It's especially true for you, probably, because demonic's got a lot of highrollers who don't mind paying top dollar for good work, especially to likeable newbies with low skill levels who do good work.

If there is something in particular you want to get crafted, my suggestion would be to ask around in the Demonic ring; we have tons of crafters who are usually willing to submit designs on your behalf as long as the designs aren't completely awful and/or tasteless(though there's a fair few who specialize in tasteless if that's, well, to your taste).

  • Even if you don't own a shop, you can still sell your designs in another person's shop. That person can ally you and give you a key and that way you can add or remove things from shelves or take out gold from the shop fund.
