I placed a bid of 400,000 gold on an auction item in the monthly auction and got the message right away that I had been outbid, but the letter I received only refunded me 200,000 gold and the bid on it is standing at 200001. Anyone else having issues?
Wierd bugs happening IG. This one is interesting because I moved to another room with no mobs, but was still getting messages about damage dealt and health remaining. https://hastebin.com/okeliniler.erl

You afflicted the mobile with ablaze, which dealt a damage tick after you left the room.

I'm looking to see if anyone is knowledgeable enough in the Shaman profession to help me put together some sort of combat plan of attack. I'm interested in PK, but the several people I've talked to don't know enough about the class (thank you to those who have said they would try to see what they can do). Is there anyone out that there knows enough, that might be able to help me or give me recommendations? I think I've got a decent idea on my fetish and how it's supposed to be set up, but other than cursing people to bleed (which I'm told is pointless) I'm at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Did you ask @Septus about the basics of Shaman? He uses it often and he's very helpful, especially to people new or trying to get into the combat scene.

I did ask @Septus. He told me that we'd chat the next time he was around. I've sent him a few tells since then, but haven't gotten a response. I've also noticed he hasn't been around the past few days.
In the log up to this point Septus is turtling a little bit (only because he wasn't activating bones, unfortunately, we were so sad when we found out), so there isn't much of him before the starburst (but note how he uses the burst both as an opportunity to get the kill and apply his marks), but here is him killing me handily, and you will notice I almost immediately try (and fail) to run. The beauty of shaman is that even if I'd got the ritual to go up, he'd have killed me anyway. And using shaman this way doesn't seem super complicated, I was even considering trying to do some version of it myself (but I really don't want to, because I need to remain focused on Runeguard). Even if someone weren't nearly as good at using profs as Septus, if shaman can be used in a relatively simple way to pump out damage when reflection ritual is used (and actually, to prevent people using it at all, because it can become a waste), it's exactly the right tool for the job. Yes, Septus is artied, but shaman might be able to do pretty good damage with minimal arties (which we need to find out - from what he told me awhile back, I bet it's not bad). You do need some aff support I think (and Cyr and Dyun do that job here), but Pellerin and Owyn could probably provide that.

If you message me here (or in-game) I can give you ideas of how to fight as one without a boat load of artifacts. Overwhelm with affs into lock (sometimes only temporary depending on their class) and killing with porcupine damage.
Class is pretty fun once you get the hang of it, and knowing which affs to keep locked onto which classes.
Since I updated to v 3.0 my map hasn't been loading at startup - I have to manual 'map load' to get it to pull up, and I often have to use lua mmp_regenerate_areas() before it begins recognizing which area it is in.
I have also noticed that since I have updated that when using the ^goto$ alias, the mudlet mapper does not account for speed movement bonuses like celerity + horse etc. Using the path find via Imperian does it fine. I have 'slowwalk' configured off, and I have no idea where to look to manipulate this information.
Also, I learned recently about the mpconfig options and I want to have the mapper use taming dash to move with it However, it is configured to use 'gallop' as the command,; instead of 'order X dash' as the command and I do not know where to look to fix this.

You say, "This is much harder than just being a normal person."
Depending where that landed in the fight.. I do use taint to strengthen and blast which increases damage from noctu spells. However, my damage is also boosted by high int(21), hecate possession, and a lvl3 collar. The collar(-20%) and the hecate possession(-10%) alone overcome the 15% resist from the magick resist. Trans constitution would give you another 25%, but my high int is what skews the damage so considerably.
the damage is way -above- the raw for one, and I have 25% magick resist. just curious really. wondering if I'm missing something here.
This is because of the way damage boosting artifacts/skills work on those skills. Instead of affecting the raw damage, they are applied as a negative damage resistance modifier on your end.
So take that 88. He's got an L3 collar: 88*1.2 = 105.6
He has Hecate: 105.6*1.1=116.16
He's probably sitting at ~20 intelligence, too, which means that he gets another large percentile boost, but I can't calculate that one off the top of my head.
Do a RESISTS CHECK and take an attack from him or somebody else and it'll give you a nice breakdown of exactly what things are modifying damage against you.
I imagine to avoid people spamming it in triggers/timers to buy cheap credits as soon as they are up. Kind of silly IMO though, because if they are up, they are meant to be bought. Could to be help price mistake postings too to give them time to withdraw and repost.

The balance loss was put in while Jeremy was trying to determine the source of the lag. It will be removed at some point in the near future. EDIT: Now removed.
What is the syntax to trade in the behaviour tokens? For example how would I get poisonous predator_advanced? I swear I've tried like every combination and I cannot figure it out for the life of me.
I thought tapped coins where not suppose to be countable towards the Great Hunt, but it appears they are. Has it purposely been changed back to being counted because of the recent changes or is that an oversight?

I don't think the coins counted, because Tikal and I tested it and she didn't get any points for those mobs.

Is the magic collar boosting scepter damage intentional?
Is I Hate being closed intentional?

With the Great Hunt, I've noticed that my bashing XP bonus is significantly less than what it normally is.
Right now it says: Your bashing XP bonus is currently 164%.
My bashing XP bonus is usually 230% (owl tattoo, sect highfavour, achievement bonus).
Is there a reason that it's lower now?
