Well, thanks for the recommendation, I might poke it regardless. I've been using a CLI-based stuff because then I can just ssh from my phone or tablet worst case using an app I have and play that way, still having my full system at my fingertips. Basically the only manageable way to play from a mobile device at all I've found. Mobile-native clients are pretty clunky.

This. This happens way, way too much. I share my shop with other peoples wares and they can't see what they sold and don't know what the shop owes them because of some *&$%'s.
To clarify, there -needs- to be a fix, either herb sales being combined like Elixirs, or the log cut-off being removed. Also it has been pointed out to me once again novices also do this, but either way it's problematic.
Idea that our resident wheel-addicts @Ohm and @Theophilus will probably agree with:
PROMO SUMMARY (or maybe LIST to be consistent with artifacts)
Lists all the promo items you currently have, their tradein value, and if for sale, what they're currently for sale at.
# Name Value Location
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
29838 a chip of an ancestral stone of a d 5 inside of "backpack329776"
* on promo market for 30 credits
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TOTAL: 1 item worth 5 credits. 1 item on offer for 30 credits.
You can use ASSEMBLE LIST and ASSEMBLE LIST OWNED to see which assemblies your piece(s) belong to.
Could probably repurpose the ARTIFACT LIST OWNED code to do this, just make it specific to promo things, tack on what they're on sale for, and the little summary, done. Shouldn't be too hard?
You could even then unclutter the artifact list by removing promo items from this (but I'm not sure what people would think of that, personally I'd find it helpful)
While we're on the topic of making artifact/promo info more readable, I'm 150% sure that some sort of fancier artifact display would promote credit purchases. I think there's a certain "checklist" mentality that people get into when they see things formatted certain ways, and a display like the following would probably kick some people into that impulse-spending mentality that credit purchases usually spring from. I started to make one for a while, but an official one would certainly look better than I can manage, and I'm too lazy to finish mine.
Speaking only for myself, the cost of entry is basically what kills credit purchases for me. I can afford 100 maybe 200 on a stretch, and I've often tossed that much at the game, but I just can't afford several hundred dollars for a game - any game.
That said, tacking something like that checklist sort of idea into something almost like an ARTIFACT REPORT thing to pair with CREDIT REPORT could be neat, I agree.
Most of my credits are from the 1-3 years of elite I've had, even when not actively playing. The rest are mostly from being paid for coding things for people and bashing. Only purchased maybe 200-300 credits over the entire lifetime of all of my characters?
I've spent about $100 on four elite membership months in about 8 years of playing.
Right now, I'm sitting at all trans skills except for galvanism, surcoat, +3 con, six completed assembly pieces, and 100 credits + several more things that cost credits.
I've switched professions several times. It can be done.
(and it's not -all- from the wheel)
You can bash up the gold for 10 credits about once a day. So in ten days, that's 100 credits.
(Ring): Lartus says, "I heard Theophilus once threw a grenade and killed ten people." (Ring): Lartus says, "Then it exploded."
(Ring): Zsetsu says, "Everyone's playing checkers, but Theophilus is playing chess."
This is also where many of Anette's credits stem from yeah, but I ain't got the discipline to grind up 500cr+ artifacts :P And I say that as someone who oddly kinds of enjoys bashing, which I know is kind of a minority position.
It's why I used the retirement value of my Aet chara for the big money stuff.
RL day? That's not hard at all. I'm like what, level 91? And I've been making a steady 30-35k an hour. AM also has mass-loads of shrines in DP/Necro, with a fortune favour you can make mad bank there.

Ok, I must know.
How do you bash up 150k gold per day?
Those of us who are really dedicated and put aside an entire day can get 400-500k with quest supplemental. Trust me though, it's not worth it. I did a calculation once with how much time I spent bashing vs how many credits I got via gold(and a 500 credit prize for a bashing contest) and it turned out to be like, 2.12 USD per hour.
Panhandling almost certainly had a better credits-per-hour value than bashing does.
"On the battlefield I am a god. I love war. The steel, the smell, the corpses. I wish there were more. On the first day I drove the Northmen back alone at the ford. Alone! On the second I carried the bridge! Me! Yesterday I climbed the Heroes! I love war! I… I wish it wasn’t over."

To me it comes down to - sure, I can really make the big bucks if I put my nose to the proverbial grindstone, but is it worth ruining my enjoyment of the game over? Not really, no. Not to me anyways.

Can logging or timing out not make you lose the profession you mirror'd with Ethereal Mirrors? I don't mind if the timer continues from when you start it, but quitting for a few minutes or timing out and having it stop work sucks.
Is there a way to sort ones inventory in ascending or descending order.
So II MAP gives me a list of 40 maps - would it possible to II MAP ASC where maps are arranged in ascending order of names rather than the order they are stored in?
Maybe there is a way to do this already and I'm not aware.
No way to do it in the game that I'm aware of, but it's fairly simple to parse II PAGE into a table clientside and then do all sorts of fancy display tricks with it there.

A link tool in descriptions that points to a worn item. For example, you could have a line in the main description that mentions how a hat is worn. In the editor, the player would do something like *hat* to swap for the short name of a matching worn item. If no viable object is found, it can just default to the word. This would help bring in clothing to the description in a more fluid way than "look person full" does.
As a player trying to gain levels in IRE games, I have learned to look for areas that:
1) have crappy or no gold drops/gold rewards for corpse turn-in
2) have some of the best xp that game offers (obvs)
3) ideally require you to be fairly on the ball, but not so punishing that you can't bash pretty safely if you are -actually- paying attention. Hard to automate.
I would like to (eventually) see more areas that have great xp (including solid quest xp if possible), but frankly, meager gold drops, or even no gold at all. Could also be just a bit like Skegdald in terms of "not too bad if you're willing to pay attention, but not a place you probably want to autobash. Ever". Probably not quite as intense as Skegdald though...
Basically, there is so much interest in DP (for example) these days it's almost unbashable for fairly long stretches at a time. Many (most?), but not all, are probably autobashing, which I don't really care about in theory. The real problem with autobashing is not "autobashing", per se. It's when people start to dominate prime hunting areas and are on a circuit where they keep those areas pretty much cleared. Autobashing just makes creating a situation that would be pretty annoying for others regardless of how it happened, much easier to actually -do-.
I think they're mostly bashing for gold, so if there were some great areas that DON'T give gold for bashing or for turn-in, it sort of helps split things up. This sort of thing already exists, but we might need a few more areas like that eventually. If there is no gold for corpse turn-in, a small uptick in quest xp would be nice. Not too much, or we might actually have a similar problem - though probably not to quite the same degree, but quest xp is a lot harder to come by now. Quest xp is... not totally meaningless, either. It is used for both virtue drops and mana reserves, and, as always, is another number that people want to make go up! I think there will still be plenty of interest in DP because gold (and people really do seem to need tangible things to spur conflict ) - but I think we want the actual bashing to not get too horrible for exactly that reason. When people start to think "eh, why bother even checking area blah?" that's not good. Could also make DP a bit harder to autobash, in addition.

I have never gone to any bashing area and had it bashed out, and that's all I do in my online time (bashing). I'm not going to say that it probably doesn't happen to some extent ... but that takes there being a few people around. Anything higher level spawns faster than I can bash it. Demon's Pass, Schrov'Ik, Necropolis, even Magglix (though I can foresee a statpack/class combo that bashes faster easily bashing Magglix out.)
The problem is everything you do to make it hard to automate bashing, by extension, also makes it harder to bash, period. There's a balance to be found there, and while I think there's small ways in which this could improve (quests could be made much easier to deduce by one's self for instance), I need only look into these forums to that bashing checks thread to see the angst that the arms race against automation leads on.
And keep in mind, I say this as someone who bashes mostly manually (I have some setup, nowheres near what most people use however, I'd wager) and does so most of the time she's online.
DP, and to a lesser extent, Necropolis, are getting hit hard a lot in the window from say, ~9-4 PM Pacific, even during the week. I get onto my RG for a bit over an hour anytime within that window, and DP for sure is usually getting hit pretty hard (and I like DP because it lets her slowly build a bit of mana reserves, since I decided not to Cairnae her way back when). I like DP on Jules now too, because virtue drops!

I have updated HELP VANITY PETS to include the syntax VANITYPET LIST for those unaware of its existence. Happy collecting!
PROMO SUMMARY (or maybe LIST to be consistent with artifacts)
Lists all the promo items you currently have, their tradein value, and if for sale, what they're currently for sale at.
