The Voices of Imperian
In a world without sound, how do you imagine your character speaks? What do you think other characters would sound like?
I imagine Abigail speaking with a South Wales accent for example.

Bathan was designed to basically just be like Ba'gamnan from FFXII. He rasps when he speaks, but there was no convenient way to convey that for the longest time. He has the ToA staff which allows for custom emotes, so he has a unique rasping laugh.
‘Every sword’s a weight to carry. Men don’t see that when they pick ’em up. But they get heavier with time.”
Bathan, I'm gonna try and picture that next time I see you in a shardfall.
Personally, I don't tend to hear a certain voice when I read anything, unless I've learned a voice from somewhere. If I'm reading a book that's been turned into a movie and I've heard the characters in the movie, I hear them when I read. Or even playing a game like Morrowind where you heard the character's voice, but most conversation doesn't have voice acting, I could usually read what they said in their voice. So I might hear Ba'gamnan if/when I see Bathan speak, but I've not mentally associated anybody else's character with a voice so I don't hear one when I see them say something. Cept for maybe Lionas and Selthis. These voices come to mind a little.
Admittedly, I'm not sure what to think of this.
Basically a fusion of friendliness, a bit of mockery and occasional slurring.
