Have to line up reckless with myried flare, after, not before. Timing it correctly is frustrating because of latency. No reckless with myried means no impatience. It isn't a matter of what afflictions are placed with bard, it's when and how.
Pellerin's fumble explains a lot to me now and why I switched.
I honestly thought it was fun attempting to kill a pair of summoners, especially when we fought you first then Wysrias joined. Go figure you'd spout this ego trip instead and say everyone's an idiot.
None if you guys give positive energy or feedback to people. It's no wonder fewer people are fighting nowadays; they just get yelled at by assholes.
Didn't call anyone an idiot and provided analysis and feedback? (Pellerin asked questions afterwards and I have been helping him). Every time someone gives you feedback you ignore them.
Iluv crowing about crushing non-combatant terribles is pretty terrible of him, but positive feedback isn't going to solve any problems there.
The problem with the vast majority of Magick's 'fighters' is that they don't want to learn to fight, they want to skip right to knowing how to fight. They act as if we have some kind of Magic PK pill that they can take to lose 100lbs of stubborn body fat without changing diet or exercise and become the badass they were always meant to be. And when it doesn't work, because OF COURSE IT DOESN'T WORK, they give up.
The fact of the matter is that there is no magical PvP pill. We're good at fighting because we fight a lot and because we think about fighting even more than we fight. Juran and I have spend hours just discussing target calling priorities and reasons for those priorities and reasons to break away from those priorities and situations where you actually want to split DPS and so forth and so on. As a result, we go into fights knowing ahead of time what our plan will be and what our priorities are.
I've spent hours and hours practicing with various abilities, learning what they all do, and learning when they should be used. I've spent hours and hours learning what my enemies' abilities do, so that I know what I will be facing. I've gone over my offense repeatedly, tweaking macros and aliases. As a result, when ball drops, I know what I should be doing in response to a given situation, I know how I am going to do it, and I'm not caught out fumbling for my opium/opium DSL or missing enlightens because I couldn't remember my alias.
They want to avoid all that. They want strict priorities they can follow without deviation and they want instructions like "If you do this move, this move, this move, and follow up with this move, you'll win". And they want to get the same performance out of those things as we get out of all of our practice and experience,
It doesn't work that way.
It will never work that way.
Unless you go monk.

Is this a thinly-veiled comment about Templar being unbalanced, or am I just reading too much into it?
I saw him cleaving me, went "cleave == templar" and tried to prone him to stop it. He was actually a WD, though, so balancing prevented the prone and the cleave went through.

[21/02/2014 - 11:52:28.782]: Filling the firmament is a lattice of heavy grey clouds. A runic stone monolith is embedded in the ground. A polka-dotted llama prances about merrily here. An august burnished stallion stands here, stomping his hooves. Alight on tattered, nearly translucent wings, a faded seraph lingers resolutely nearby. The shining figure of a Seraphic guardian floats in the air here. A snow lynx crouches and awaits her prey. Septus is riding on a hulking velociraptor. He wields a truesilver claymore in his hands. Priestess of the Flowers, Vanmoriel Sa'Gael is here. She wields a kite shield in her left hand and a spiritual mace in her right. A peaceful aura fills the area, emanating from Kryss, Aspect of Aryana. Kira, Aspect of Sukhder, is here, filling the surroundings with a miasma of fear. She wields a spiritual mace in her left hand. Vox, The Wild Glaive is here, camouflaged.
[21/02/2014 - 11:52:28.787]: You see a single exit leading west.
