Druid attacks take something around 3 seconds depending on statpack, accumulated feather and naturebinding specialisation. That said, I don't think that particular combination is terribly powerful when you consider that you can writhe off balance, so you will have the leg cured and balance back by the time you writhe out.
I don't know why he's using the off-balance empower. That seems like a nonbo. He could just use legstrike for doublebreak.

The off-balance hit me twice before I regained balance but the combo hit after garrote. In one-on-one combat this combo is totally fine but in teams it's pretty devastating.
Unless you're impaled, being thrown offbalance before a writhe doesn't matter at all. For that matter, neither does a limb break. Prone matters a little, because some abilities specifically require prone over helpless - but the rest of it seems a waste of time.

It was pretty amusing watching him move guards to the wrong places. Plus, now we don't have to tolerate his shouting (sadly this will probably only be temporary).
I should metagame my way into cities to raid too. Damnable moral high ground.
If you don't know how they got in, maybe you should leave the defense ministry work to the defense minister. They didn't cheat or metagame to get in.

Yeah, unfortunately that's a bit trickier here, as brainmelt does not work off mental afflictions - it works off afflictions that the basilisk can give. Omitting toxin ones would make the list a tad too small.

So remove toxic mental afflictions from Supremacy and instead apply new
ones (i.e, Hypnosis afflictions - I can give a list). While the table of afflictions strays too close to Hypnosis, the
nature of Supremacy ensures that no Hunter or Assassin/Renegade can
whine about homogenization - this retains some level of team synergy if
they want to build around Big Brainmelt Bombs, but it requires that they
bring a marginally squishier class (Renegade or even Bard EDIT: Bard would not bring much to the table in this strategy) to do the
job.. a.k.a, classes that cannot do significant chunks of a player's
maximum HP in damage via DSL->Sowulu Flare (or effectiveHP damage in
the form of Pithakhan).

The power of the hunter in the team doesn't really come from extra mental afflictions; it comes from the fact that the runeguard is DSLing with things like ciguatoxin/hemotoxin/sensitivity/metrazol/xeroderma/mercury/etc.
Granted, ciguatoxin and sensitivity are both brainmelt afflictions in and of themselves, but their main threat is that they keep your healing occupied and thusly shield the afflictions that the hunter is banking on for the brainmelt. And, frankly, there's not much you can do to prevent that from happening aside from changing curing priorities when dealing with a hunter so that you place a higher emphasis on brainmelt afflictions.

Brainmelt's damage needs to be looked at, then. Especially considering the small amount of things that resist its damage (what with being psychic) - it is incredibly high, going up to roughly 700 or more in raw.

I wouldn't say "rare" when predators primarily use that damage type for the exact reason Sarrius listed. Just because brainmelt uses psychic isn't bad, the lack of mitigation is where the problem lies. Case in point would be seeing predators rip through people with inept philosophy since they are essentially without mitigation.
@Luthyr if you add more mitigation you further disrupt predator combat more than it is currently. Effectively taking them back to 2008-2011 after the major nerfing they got. Mitigation probably isn't necessarily the best answer here. I'd be more keen on taking a look a the skill itself and the factors that play into it's absurd damage rather than adding in more mitigation. You could also look at it's synergy in team situations and tweak it there too.
Here's an idea. How about have Intelligence effect Philosophy the same way Dexterity is utilized in Evasion. As statpacks are typically inversely proportionate when it it comes to Constitution and Intelligence, it would benefit those with low health over the high health equivalents. It was also give a base for some mitigation against Psychic damage when applied to low might characters without trans Philosophy.
The change you propose will have the effect of making psychic damage stronger in virtually every circumstance, aside from classes which are forced into intelligent, which is already so problematic a statpack that nobody plays those classes.
