Temporary Maintenance

The main website, www.imperian.com, is down for temporary maintenance. The client is still directly accessible at play.imperian.com. This only impacts access to site pages, and does not impact your ability to play the game. Sorry for any inconvenience, it'll be back soon.

    The host is the same, just some database cleanup.

    I've been reading the Android developer's website to learn a bit about Java and the Android platform, and all I can think about is 'Jeez that is very deliberately obtuse code.' :< how hard is it to code for Rapture?

    Fairly easy, actually. http://www.ironrealms.com/rapture/manual/ has some basics, if you are interested. Very incomplete, but it will give you the generic idea.

    from what i hear rapture engine is expensive in such 'few figures' and is not your typical $14 dollars a month you can code/design/make anything on UDK engine. i remember once a time the outsiders tried to build things on rapture and dropped it since then... that was long time ago.

    We will be shutting down the game in 5 minutes in order to upgrade Rapture. We should only be down for a couple of minutes.

    EDIT: Server shut down, upgrade in progress.
    EDIT2: Back up, with a few hiccups. We're working on returning normalcy.
    EDIT3: Everything should be back to normal.
