Warding - Melee damage. What you're looking for here is 'quickjab'. This will be your primary bashing/pvp skill.
Pierce is your raze skill. You use this to bypass shields/rebounding
Piercelimb is a limb break skill.
Vault is your escape skill Powersoul: Speeds up attacks, wears off.
Bowmanship-Largely a pk skill. Mostly used for longshot, incendiary, strafe
Trailblazing is your utility skill (provides defenses)
Secure wielded (won't drop them)
Cloak: Conceal weapons (can't see wielded weapons), fire/cold resist Weathering +1 con Fitness: blocks mercury, cures mercury Vitality: Refresh on low health Deadaim: more crits, helps with bashing.
PVE: You're mostly just quickjabbing the crap out of things.
PVP: You'll want to learn to at least targetting in Weaponry.
As a warden you do good damage, 2 toxins and limb damage. Most strategies center around breaking arms and legs and sticking them with an incendiary arrow. Broken arms, prone, writhes, prevent the target from pulling the arrow out. Most of your tactics are going to center around that. You'll learn to pick out the 33%, 66%, 100% limb damage messages so that you can time your breaks and get the most out of your offense. In teams, you're just a double-toxin, damage bot, and occasionally cheesing long shot incendiary.
"On the battlefield I am a god. I love war. The steel, the smell, the corpses. I wish there were more. On the first day I drove the Northmen back alone at the ford. Alone! On the second I carried the bridge! Me! Yesterday I climbed the Heroes! I love war! I… I wish it wasn’t over."

How do rangers use their skills?
Generally speaking, the answer is "badly".

Last I remember from when I was Ranger, at least...
