Combat Questions
Hi. I'm new here, and I've been seeking answers in game to questions I have about combat, but it's been quite difficult to get elaborated or comprehensive answers. If this isn't the right place to create the topic, apologies!
Question 1: How long does it take for restoration to cure 'shattered limbs' - as someone from my guild called it.
Question 2: Is the salve balance recovered the instant the limb is cured after this delay?
Question 3: Is there any affliction that prevents the ability to WRITHE from a blade? And if there isn't, is there any affliction that SLOWS that method of curing? I was thinking shattered legs, but I haven't been able to find an answer from my guild.
Question 4: How fast typically is a Templar able to doubleslash at (With sabres), and how long is herb balance?
Question 5: How long does it take from smoking linseed to the rebounding aura coming up?
Question 6: Can Templars 'Lock' an opponent? My guild told me we can deliver all of the afflictions necessary but they didn't really elaborate any further. If someone could also tell me all of the lock afflictions and their corresponding cures, thanks.
That's all I have right now, but I'm sure I'll have more soon. This isn't just my thread of course, so I'd encourage other people to ask questions too

3. Nothing stops writhe. Torso damage increases writhe time. Rigidity also increases writhe time.
Mental can be focused.
Purged can be purged using purge blood.
"On the battlefield I am a god. I love war. The steel, the smell, the corpses. I wish there were more. On the first day I drove the Northmen back alone at the ford. Alone! On the second I carried the bridge! Me! Yesterday I climbed the Heroes! I love war! I… I wish it wasn’t over."
You can't give impatience (outside of mirror as has already been said), but penance is a fairly solid substitute. Its a smoke cure (so if you have the rest of the locking affs stuck they can't cure it), and it passively delivers affs on a fast timer. You will be counting on focus not catching anorexia at that point, but given templar damage output you really don't need it stuck for very long.
You really don't need to lock though, if you get someone to that point you're generally just covering your bases. They'll likely (should if you're doing your job properly) have sunallergy/nausea/sensitivity, which are going to mean your damage is getting pretty insane without even factoring in flare.
To confirm, raze is modified by racial balance bonus/penalties. If you're using sabres rsl will almost always be a better option.
the claims are stated - it's the world I've created
Slickness is not included in the list of hellsight afflictions.
I am fairly sure you can't have multiple nightmares.. though thinking about it, I've never tried myself.
Daemonite can be made to follow you from room to room. Fiend, like nightmare, is bound to the pentagram it was summoned in.
The fiend doesn't give haemophilia or indeed any afflictions.
Diabolist has had an influx of changes, very needed after a sequence of classleads plus autocuring basically made the profession unplayable.
In all seriousness though, the profession can catharsis/absolve and that is pretty devastating in teams where your target is also getting pummeled for a ton of their health all the damn time.
The biggest problem with tracking for diabolist is mental afflictions. At the end of the day, you're really kind of playing affliction cure roulette and the only way to find out if you were wrong or not is to go for the clunky mechanic called "infirmity" and find out if you won at roulette or lost.
Also, since you are asking questions about combat mechanics, not really sure you shouldn't be advocating about what should and what shouldn't be available to everyone.
