Undead stuff

General discussion for broken things in the current major event.

Two things so far.
One, undead seem to be spawning (or somehow wandering) into rooms in Aesir's temple that are no longer accessible.


Two:
Marga the soothsayer says, "Greetings Lionas. You have returned. Have you collected any spirits for me?"
 [1] (say) Yes, will you please remove them?
 [2] (say) No, I do not have any.
 [3] (say) Yes, but you cannot have them.
 [3] (say) What are the spirits again?

    Ghosts - Round Two - Fight!        the Western Nolmine Heights
    I've turned in about 50 corpses, but have no progress on this quest.

    Bug #53886: Slay the Spirits. You complete the quest when you slay the 100th spirit, rather than when you turn it in to Marga. Because of this, you have to accept the quest again to get her to purge the spirit from you. Not terrible but annoying.

    Also half the assassins I kill immediately give me the 'You have survived the Lich's attempt to kill you!' or whatever message.

    I will fix up the assassin messages in a bit. You have to ward off 10 of them (that are targeted to assassinate you) to complete the quest.

    I have fixed the ghost quest.

    Is it too much to ask for only the assasins who were sent against you to aggro on you, and by extension, be the first the system targets when using the 'assassin' or 'undead' (assuming no other undead around) syntaxes? Of course if none in the room were any who were sent against you, you still wouldn't get credit for then killing the others.

    Yeah, that's how it works now - them being aggro against everyone was an oversight.
  • Sometimes, the spirits spawned by the door become ghosts, but sometimes they sit as spirits for a long time instead, leaving dozens of spirits sitting around in the temple.

    I need ghosts, darn it.

  • Yeah, I am working on balancing this all out. I will take a few more days as we release the rest of the quests.

  • I am not sure what you mean by reset. I will point this out to Jesse though.

  • Imps don't despawn, orb doesn't despawn, statue stays sentient and murderous.

  • @Lionas Okay, thanks.

  • Check this with Jesse - Only 5 of the Wraith Lord charms spawn, and the mechanic to get new charms is sound, it's just that the new ones do not drop regardless of how many run throughs. Any chance of this being fixed soon? Been close to a month now.
