Tournament of Ages
Starting this upcoming weekend and going for about two weeks will be this year's Tournament of Ages.
We have some games, new and old, planned for the tournament, and are trying our best to make sure people in all time zones will have the ability to compete.
For those unfamiliar with the Tournament, it is our mostly-annual tournament for players to compete for prizes and credits. We will have regular prizes for events and participation, so you don't have to win to get something. We will also have events that "level the field" a bit more so that newbies and the un-artifacted will have just as much chance of winning as anyone else.
Hopefully you'll enjoy the event as we've had a few people working to put it together.

When will there be an update with the schedule and prizes?
Also, thank you all in advance for the the efforts you have put into this already.
The registrations for the dueling tournaments are now open!
There are three, independent tournaments this year:
1. Standard Duel
2. Engineer Duel
3. Random Duel
You can register for none, one, two or all. (Use TOA to see syntax) The way matches work this year are going to be a bit different. We're going to start with a seeding round. Once the seeding round starts, participants will be chosen by the system based who is online and how many games they've played. If you are online, and registered, you may suddenly find yourself selected for a duel.
You do not have to duel if selected. When you are selected, you will be whisked off to a ready room where you will be refreshed and given three minutes to prepare. If you do not wish to duel, you may use the portal in one of the rooms attached to the ready room to exit. Excessive or strategic exiting may be held against you for purposes of advancing to the next round, but does not count as a loss. Exiting will render you ineligible for further participation for a cooldown period.
Once the three minutes end if neither party exits, you will be placed in a small area (a copy of the shard or champion battle area) and told who your opponent is. This is not an arena battle, this follows the same rules as the champion battle system. There will be a cooldown period after a battle to prevent you from repeatedly being summoned into combat.
Both participants will be awarded daily credits. Additional credits will be distributed at the conclusion of each round based on your record. Having multiple alts play during the seeding round is permitted (so long as you don't do so at the same time), however, multiple alts of the same player will not be permitted to advance.
For the standard duels you will be playing with your character and using your items. You will not get consumed items back. For the engineering and random duels, you will be playing an "Arena Hero", which is a character specially made for battle. The Arena Heros should be stocked with everything that you need to do battle, but you will need to use your three minutes wisely to equip. Needless to say, attempting to keep or transfer the Arena Hero's items or things will get you in trouble.
For the random battle, you will be playing a random profession. Your opponent will be the same random profession as the one you are assigned. The profession may or may not change each battle you play.
To register, please use the TOA command.
For this, does it only apply for leaving the duel before it begins? Or does it also count for stallers who excessively use flip boots so that the timer runs out and the match draws?
You put the corpse of a clockwork jackalope into a large stehl chute.
Nothing else happened. No quest xp. Nada.
