Defend is one of three skills: Dodging, Mental Shield, and Reinforce.
Each skill increases defense based on the respective stat, as well as by ability rank. I don't remember how much it is initially, but to put it in perspective:[Mercenaries]: The mercenary tournament has started, with 7 teams competing!
