It's the really new people that concern me (and we've been getting a fair number, from what I've observed). Most of those I've asked only manage to get maybe 10 credits.
A huge issue is that spawnwaves gate dailycredits; there's no other … -
Yeah, but it's not newbie-friendly. For the True New, the need for things like 'bashing targets' and a 'defense manager' would seem so abstract.

Rings and Newbie can be (and are mostly) OOC, since it's the place to discuss syntaxes and the like.
Clans can be OOC or IC; it would depend on that clan.
Tells and messages are IC unless it is agreed upon by both parties that … -
An alternative would be to make doubloons / temporary artifacts easier to get, while maintaining the current model of permanent artifacts.
That might be less grind-y enough for the casual PK monsters (I say that very lovinglyIdea! So, we already have mobs with "point" values for things like Great Hunts and what not.
Can we tie credit generation to that?
For example, you first need 250 points to get your first credit tick. Then the next would need 5…We've bugged it! Champion point only counts for the first hour, at the moment. Not sure if Jeremy has fixed it yet.Right now, you can get credits via:
- completing spawnwaves
- doing quests
- killing boss mobs
- holding a monolith
- being a champion
- plundering caravans
- collecting shardfall shards

I'm not against having new promos, as long as they take a far back seat to developing Imperian itself.I don't see how it'll be a negative. The planned in-game credit generation seems good enough that buying in won't be a big requirement. Plus, having Imperian have as little financial drain as possible can only be good.
Speaking of non-gam…Heyo Saatiel!
One basic thing I can recommend is to never forget the SHARD abilities. Specifically, SHARD ADRENALINE, SHARD ANATOMY, and SHARD WILDLIFE will be your friends.
You can take a look at their individual information via:<…I typo'd and found this gem of a post...EVENTS NEWS #1Date: 4/30/2003 at 16:28From: AnonymousTo : EveryoneSubj: The Moons of ImperianI'm going to be completely honest. The overarching storyline of Imperian is a bit weak, and that, in turn, affects the circle- and organization-wide roleplay. In fact, since you started 'earlier', you have the opportunity to get settled, grab supplies, and get ready for the 15th.What I don't understand is why you insist that you and others have "stuck with Imperian hoping it would get better", but when a huge change is planned that actually has a shot at making Imperian better, your most ardent point is "make it easier for …Kinsarmar has filed a bounty against you. Reason: Did brazenly abscond with what we rightfully stole, rudeness personified.
I agree with the promo items, because while they didn't cost credits, they did still cost actual $$$ and that should be reflected in the retirement.(Quote) Your financial investment is not being gated off. You will still have your artifacts and knick knacks. The only thing that will change is instead of money, time (grinding) will be the currency at which others can obtain them (in other…All the IREs have experienced massive change at one point or another, and yet in none of those cases were players given 100% refund even if they did not agree with the change. gmcp.Char.Status.prof stores what your current profession is. Maybe you can use that to toggle which 'version' your keybind uses?
I use Mudlet, but my keybind looks something like:

Long Live Stavenn!Possibly in the minority here, but I absolutely welcome the ability to generate credits (and lessons, by extension) completely by in-game means. The financial and economic realities of my country of residence doesn't really make it justifiable for m…(1) Lessons are valued at half their credit value. That is, the original exchange rate of credit:lesson is 1:6, so in retirement, that becomes 1:12. This also means that you should not forget skills before retiring, as doing so would first halve the…
