(Quote)…That is... a really expensive ref sheet. o.o s
Edit - Not that I'm opposed to artist's making money to survive on, freelancers gotta eat too, but also, whoa.for bringing up Campbell.
Otherwise, yea. A ton of major game developments in the last half decade have been done wit…Then go be a demoner. That's literally what that theme is. The theme of Kinsarmar/magick in general is that there are limits you don't cross because the dangers are too high. And AM's theme is that all magick is the start of a slippery slope.
…The admin hasn't supported the idea that Kinsarmar is anti-demon-associated with things, maybe? But it's definitely still there and embedded in Kinsarmar and Kinsarmarian culture.
Gods are dead, themes are not.Owyn RPing.
I will get all ya'll, one at a time if need be.
@Sumie - I am soooo down for a Harvest Moon esque commodity generating system. The costume issue isn't that it's a costume, it's that it makes zombies? (E: Question because ef if I know what it actually does, I pay zero attention to the promo junk most of the time)
I have no issue with thematic stuff, as long playe…TL;DR - The administration screwed up pretty hardcore on these items. The solution in game should be either A) poke the admin to correct it to an IC appropriate form for the org and/orin To those who don't RP (but might)... Comment by Krysaliss August 2017
That's a point to be made about how the admin is managing the game. THEY created the rules for the orgs. The orgs have tried to steer in new directions (Celidon once tried to make a pact with Stavenn back in the day and was told in no uncertain term…Sigh.
I really wish the admin would consider this crap before they throw things in the game.
I didn't know that existed. I am now sad.I assume your average Kinsarmarian understands the difference between a costume and the real thing, but hey, maybe not.
I think the crisis should have been about what they've been doing wrong to allow things to go as far as they did. In …Yea, it should have. Kinda did. Not enough though.
And I -wish- we had a lore wiki. Our lore is all over the place and not well tracked. It makes me sad.Being undead is associated with demonic arts. Kinsarmar used to allow demonic arts in the city. Then Trent happened and demons were literally overrunning the streets. More recently, demons overrunning streets literally destroyed Stavenn. (E: <- …I mean...hmm.
There are a few parts to your complaint, @Swale.
First, that people get upset when folks within a thematic organization do some…I am 100% always down for RP and I have enough alts that I exist everywhere. Just sayin' :P
But yea, the game has a serious issue with players not being able to take a graceful loss and build from it. PK and RP alike.
I was way late to the magic comm production bandwagon and can 100% attest to what Sumie just said. It's impossible to compete with the pricing other shopkeepers who are less lazy than me about it can afford without duplicate/transmute.Duplicate/Transmute make my already painful life as a crafter/shopkeeper less crappy. Seeing as it is frequently a challenge to find all the commodities and frequently those commodities are outrageously priced yet required for things people who play…Some years back we had a discussion about our scrolling text dreams.
An awful lot of us have them.
Addictions are rough, yo.@Rokas - Dude, my Ithaquan -lived- in the tavern. There's definitely interaction to be had, it's just quiet often. Thoooough, that's the state of the game in general…(Quote) This is literally how we make decisions on a fairly regular basis. Especially about food things. The only issue with Ithaqua is that it's dead quiet a lot of the time. I -adore- Ithaqua. I love the theme and there are some stellar RPers there. It's just a lot of time spend thumb twiddling.
Edit - Also would bet solid money on Ithaqu…@Galt - I know you did not just make an entire thread complaining about minimal combat associated costs and then tell me harvesting is fine because it doesn't take th…for RP. More RP. All the RP.
On the scale of things I'd like to see fixed in this game, that's probably somewhere down in the hundreds.
It's really a trivial problem. I mean, I see where you are coming from, there is an inequality, but meh. Even my hunt-hating behin…
