(Quote) With 606 health, I eat a sowulu flare for 49 psychic (raw damage: 55). Prior to this change I would have eaten a sowulu flare for 606 * 0.13 = approximately 79 unblockable damage. Now, breaking out my fifth grade math skills her…

Also I'd just like to add that in group combat the sowulu changed INCREASED the effective damage of sowulu because now I can be hit by roughly twice as many sowulu flares.

(Quote) Man, that is a problem. If only we had some kind of queueing system that helped people hit tight windows...

(Quote) You left some things off of your comparison chart.

Sowulu hits me for about ~50 damage. Septus, with an L3 collar and an L3 sash, hits me for 37 damage with Flare. Without those artifacts he's literally hitting me for 24 damage per flare. 4100 credits in artifacts that boost Flare and they…

That was on a defiance shrine, so everybody in that room had 0% resistances.
In that room EVERYBODY takes huge damage.

Please update HELP CUSTOM PROMPT with the token for Berserker Rage. It's "*g".

My thing is more that I don't care how complicated and tricky and difficult you make it as long as you make it relatively obvious what the next step should be.
You say, "Slitherers?"
A ragged street urchin says, "What's that in the mi… -
My problem with the Slitherer is that the quest basically consisted of "there is a monster somewhere you should kill it" and... that's it. I went looking in the city, nope. Went looking in the sewers, nope. Played a bit of keyword bingo with the …

Basically I start ignoring a quest/event prompt the moment it expects me to do one of these things:
- Play "Guess the Keyword" with a mob.
- Search the area/world for something that may or may not be there.

Super-sensitivity thundering warshout on massive bleeding.
Amusingly, doing that much damage was actually beneficial for your team in this case. You were at 113 health when the combo started, and strike+bash did 102 damage, which means that…

Could gbot PLEASE give some kind of warning when you're out of a curative? It's really frustrating when you run out of maidenhair/nightshade/etc and gbot just quietly goes along with it without any indication that something is wrong other than th…

We don't have a freaking university or even a school, why do we have a Dean?

Does the mob have to be a Dean, or can we reskin it into something else?

Nobody. It doesn't hurt anybody, and that's why I don't object to putting it back in.
However, I also believe that the answer to "Who does it help?" is "almost nobody" because docents who can't take action in any kind of matter of…

I really think that if the docent program is going to really accomplish anything, it's going to have to be set up in a way that lets it address game issues somehow. Bartender conversation is nice and all, but I think that ends up appealing to a v…

The major problem with docents is that the interactions generally end up feeling pretty toothless because you're explicitly forbidden from pursuing anything of substance and you can't help out with most of the stuff that people want help with in …

... I could take over cats, this is true.
Rethinking vote.

Nope.
It's a lot of thankless work for interactions of uncertain quality, and the inability to use guild/sect/order mobiles or support players/ideas means that you can't actually do anything interesting anyways.

The way things are right now, I don't think that a university would end up working well enough to justify the resources.
I think it's going to run into a problem with lesson gain, honestly, in that I think that new players will have likely …

My RP is that we are dead Vikings and this is Valhalla and we have to fight constantly to train for Ragnarok.

The place you are looking for is Khandava, which is demonic. Give it a shot anyways. Expand your horizons. It might be demonic but it's not a Generic Evil Empire or anything like that.

To clarify, I would not want extra city guards, because no city is going to use them to cover a guildhall. I would want guildhalls to get their own guards. Since guilds generally don't have any kind of economy to speak of, I would not expect the …

I am very 'eh' on making protection even more widespread. I'd much rather just give guildhall guild guards or something like that.
-
Realistically, most guild populations are so small that you'd be better off with everybody learning from the city tutor because that's where they're the most likely to encounter other players anyways.
-
But if you make it impossible for me to break into a guildhall it gets a lot harder to kill people in their guildhall.

I can't decide if that's more cruel to me or to Esmyrsia.
