(Quote) I thought you were making this up until I went to read it myself. Score one for not proofreading.

(Quote) I did believe you! I had just thought of your fancy little trick to get around walls a few seconds later and decided not to take any chances.

Alas, it was just me and Seraphyne who were participating at first, though Sumie showed up eventually. Us 3 defenders don't measure up to you, Septus, Azefel, Caelya and (maybe?) Sarciossis. We did initiate on Septus and Caelya, those tresspassing f…

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the conflict, and I don't think for an instant that we have "bitten off more than we can chew". I'd just like to have time to do other things too, besides throw rocks at an uppity Azefel. It's way more fun when both peopl…

These raids are fun and all, but doing it every single month can get old pretty quick. Standing outside with double blocking or bear block and Sundering anyone who gets near is basically just a stalemate... until Septus does something silly and gets…

(Quote) Honest question, does this work without a Diadem of Quickening? I thought battlecry equilibrium time was something like 5.2 seconds. If not, it seems unfair to expect knights (of all flavours) to have an 850 credit artifact just…

If the damage multiplier on CCUT was removed from Pindown (thus turning it into basically an entangle), wouldn't that severely limit how abusable Pindown + CCUT would be in teams? That should give Predators a lot of design space to buff CCUT one way…

It's a minor gripe, but:
"X has been reclaimed by the Nature, called forth by Y."
"A slight tremor pulses along the length of your quarterstaff as the power of your bond with the Nature fills your senses."

Thanks for the answers, everyone.

I'm curious, why was it that the price of a Steelweave Surcoat went up 50% when the effect changed from 15% to negate physical damage to simply 15% damage reduction?
On a similar note, is it worth investing in one for 750 credits, or woul… -
Groves are no longer a security threat, since they lost 100% of their offensive capabilities, so I wouldn't be worried about it being used as a weapon against you. If your problem with it comes from a roleplay perspective, you could always do what L…

I don't think there is a way for anybody but the imprinter of the grove to remove it. Defilers cannot remove a grove, nor can Necromancers who exterminate it.

(Quote) I hope that was a typo or a mistake. All the major skills I have transed took ~290 credits, and that's assuming you don't have the 2.5 bonus lessons per credit.
-
(Quote) I think it's fair to say he meant 300 damage brainmelts.
As for Druid utilizing bleeding, we get 7 bleeding per ~3 second attack if we use a sub par Naturebinding attack (shred), so we don't really hold a candle to Ou… -
(Quote) I had thought that fayth damage was AM-flavoured magick damage, and was mitigated by the same things that magick damage is.

Thanks a lot, it works perfectly. I had tried this earlier, but I made this mistake of thinking the escape character was '\' instead of '%'.

If it's possible, adding an autocuring section to gmcp would be excellent. This section could contain cure-related information already available to the player, such as cure balances, but it would also contain another table that tells you what cures …

I don't see why not. If cross-circle membership wasn't impossible, we would probably allow Ithaquans too.

(Quote) This is basically it. We don't consider Celidon to be a civilization by our definition.
The worries that Sarrius listed are ones that I share. From a roleplay perspective, though, anti-civilization is a complete… -
This is a discussion that Gurn and I had with the entity Naya, who was curious to learn about our cult. Edited for ease of reading only.

Just a thought, but perhaps it could get the same treatment that the gem did. Keep the thirdeye blocking property 100% of the time, but limit the 100% total location protection to X hours per day. It could have non-perfect location protection the re…

The ability to combine the functionality of the command separator with queueing. This would make life a whole lot easier, especially using the separator for combat as a class with multiple attacks.

(Quote) This is my thought as well, and it would be a wonderful quality-of-life change. I don't think such a change has to take the reward out of adventuring, either. On the contrary, if room numbers were only displayed for rooms … -
It would be wonderful if there was a database made available that contained all the vnums and their room names. I suppose it would do very little to help newbies, but it would make writing scripts to associate room names with vnums much less of a pa…

(Quote) Could you elaborate on this, please? If I do 80 damage per hit while fighting something with 120 health, it will take me two strikes to kill it. If you do 40 damage per hit but attack twice as fast, it will take you 3, and… -
While it would make hunting easier for everyone, I think the Overpower ability that Sarciossis suggested would serve more to equalize the advantage that very fast hitting or multi-attack professions get over slow, single-hitting professions. The adv…

Druid attacks take something around 3 seconds depending on statpack, accumulated feather and naturebinding specialisation. That said, I don't think that particular combination is terribly powerful when you consider that you can writhe off balance, s…

You can choose if it's blunt mental or blunt physical, but I always thought that the mental/physical property only affected whether or not it scales with strength or intelligence and collars. For resistances the mental/physical property should be ir…
