(Quote) I very much agree with @Zerin here. This seems like certain organizations have just expected a certain income and taken no or few steps to try something d…

@jeremy Any chance that perhaps for the duration of the month we could also buy the costume tokens from a vendor or something with existing credits?

In an attempt to get this back on track, I think the bigger problem with pvp involvement right now comes down to a combination of not really any real personal reason to get involved, and the prevailing attitude some people had until now that frankly…

(Quote) I like the idea of some sort of mercenary system where non-city aligned players can be "hired" to help defend the city (edit: or help raid it!) but would be marked as a defender/raider for PVP reasons after it. So they get the benefits of…

(Quote) Well, I don't bite! The consumable vampire teeth are too neat to waste. I enjoy 1v1 just because all I need is a single buddy/frenemy/enemy/sparring partner to kick it off. I never mind unless my system is too much in pieces at the mome…

(Quote) Well, when I have some trust in my own system, I intend to release it freely, for the like 2 people who still use TinyFugue.
Semi-relatedly, since it seems we're both in the process of making our own systems, we should spar some… -
Wow, this thread kind of went off on a tangent.
Automation is a tool - one that can both be used effectively and can make things worse for people than they need to be. Not everyone is going to make their own tools. That's fine. What's… -
I use tinyfugue. I figured it out but it's weird - I had to set drop the trailing line terminator and set it as a multiline comparison, suggesting the line ending on the string sent by the server is improper.

(Quote) This has been the case with raids since The Beginning of Time Itself TM. Penalizing people for going for the weak spot and weak moments is just going to end up in people who don't care to participate because they're being punished for att…

(Quote) It's just a little too expensive for my blood to buy multiples when they're ostensibly 40 bucks of credits each, though I can't really speak to anyone but myself.
(especially USD with the current exchange :c ) -
Townes might actually be a good alternative here, but the problem you run in here is the inverse of the city one, where they're almost TOO small and would require expansion, and you still have towne houses as a factor here. It would give townes an …

I've seen plenty of people looking for the costume vouchers on the market channel, but no one selling. I'm not sure if they're tradeable. Didn't think to check mine before redeeming it. There's definitely a market there that could be, there, if t…

I just want to be clear that I do actually like the new consumables, I just don't have much reason to chase them and they're all I can get if the first time off I got exactly what I wanted, which while fortiutous for me doesn't give you guys more mo…

(Quote) Going 50-100-200-300-etc with the tiers would be reasonable, I think. Lets most people get in without there being a billion costumes out there for larger credit purchases.
Making the spins the new consumables PLUS the typical p… -
For me I just couldn't afford more than one of the costumes with the bracket being 100cr per. I definitely liked being able to choose my own. I'd probably swing a second if they were 50cr. It's a tight time of year for me money-wise.

Its actually the other one I want to get, but alas at the state of my bank account right now :c

(Quote) Could perhaps make it so if they hit the objective related to housing it will eject people from houses and shop storerooms until the conclusion of the raid. Gives the raiders a pressure point to go for if people try to hunker down in a si…

I like plan B better. Making it the city itself takes away a feeling of cities being safe havens that would be an impetus for the city to have at the very least a good defence force against a full on attack. I also like the idea of there being cle…

(Quote) Oh man I remember when this happened on my old character all the time. Nothing my enemy did made me want to pack it in more than my own side not even giving me time to properly re-situate myself before being herded back into the firing li…

I have played IRE games for nigh on a decade now and the only thing I have to say to people who say "surprises happen" is ... they are the same lot who seem to accumulate a lot of complaints about getting issued all the time.

I had one happen to me when I was still getting to aspect and bashing in Zh'serurn, I was just lucky that since Khizan and Septus decided to get in on it I could just quietly bail. There definitely seem to exclude many bashing areas, but there's a …

(Quote) This is a huge turn off for me. Antioch doesn't actually bother me too much anymore but when I first hit aspect it happened a lot and it feels like because I didn't jump in the deep end headfirst with no system I missed that bus. But mor…

(Quote) Likewise as an aspect who hunts recreationally (because I'm a mad person who enjoys bashing), they become a liability for me much more than they are an asset, so I avoid them.

I can highfavour myself already, they don't have much value here because they're given out so blithely. Meanwhile to get a favour, even just a normal favour, from Nuiri or Dhaivol or whoever, was a big thing in Aetolia.

Personally, I just don't see a motivation to actually go out and do PVP. When I played Aetolia I had plenty of motivation in the conflicts between my Order and various others, and favour and other stuff like that was plenty motivation. In Imperian…

The ironic thing about stuff ingame like the special shards that could give you an edge against top-tier artifact-laden PKers is that immediately means you drop them like hot potatoes because you don't want to get constantly murdered in the face.

None of the binaries on the site appear to have been compiled within the last year, so they're all pretty dated. Windows 3.0delta seems to be the most recent, Jan 2015. Unfortunately if one is looking for a fix one will likely have to compile the …

(Quote) Bloodlines are a repurposed version of the clan system specific to families, to the point that many of the clan verbs work with bloodlines and you can address them just the same as clans with the REACTIONS system.
