I take art commissions on request! Visit my website for commission info and more art!
I just wanted to compliment the admin on the October week of scares games that happened. It was a lot of games, and a lot of things the admins had to worry about during all that. Big props to putting it all together and getting it over and done with. I really enjoyed participating where I did, was very unhappy when I missed the events I did. Here's a list of the rewards for those that did not have a chance to participate in any of them. I believe my list is as complete as possible. I added spoilers for each of them for those of you that don't wish to find out what they look like and do here.
a podgy pumpkin frog
Known as a pumpkin frog, this spectacular amphibian is as wide as it is large. Bioluminescent markings ornament its broad yellow head and back, each flashing with a cheery orange light, and a subtle glow radiates from the frog's belly, making it seem all the more like a living pumpkin in a froggish form. The frog has pale yellow feet and bright red eyes, and its mouth is wide and cavernous when opened. Practically oozing with its ample girth, someone has managed to cinch a small saddle atop the creature's back, allowing it to be ridden.
A podgy pumpkin frog can learn 10 of the following skills. Skill Name Max % Possible Obey 100% Mount 100% Swim 100% Strength 100% Speed 100% Gallop 100% Stamina 100% Followother 100% Courage 100% Flee 100% Charge 100% Joust 100% Hunt 100% Dash 100% Attack 100%
a celestial bat-winged fairy charm
Sculpted from milky alabaster, this heavenly fetish resembles a reclining bat-winged fairy, her features pale and delicate, with becoming wavelets framing her elegant countenance. Spreading out on either side of the woman's figure are two bat-like wings, their joints segmented with stained glass which bleeds from the deepest indigo at the apex to a dewy robin's blue at their scalloped tips; a single star cut from diamonds decorates each point, numbering six in total. Collets of prismatic opals are inset within the mosaic wings, each glistening dreamily like coils of romantic evening clouds. A spray of stars like spume from the ocean crests up from the fae's feet to caress around her thighs, spreading outwards like a breaking wave. Set in repose behind her, a slim crescent moon arcs from the small of her back to end above the fairy's head, her arms extended in a lazy stretch towards a cluster of stars nestled at the celestial apex.
Inky swaths of eldritch night gather around Evaldir, shrouding him wholly from view before dispersing her body from the room towards the east in ribbons of darkness.
A nightmarish haze of darkness creeps into the room from the west, and starts to grow and gather into an imposing tower. Eventually, Evaldir steps from the pillar of shadow, wisps of the benighted haze clinging to her hands and legs.
a spooky black and orange bat doll
Despite its fearsome depiction, this small doll is just a bit shy of eight inches in length and is sewn from soft cotton. Its nose is squat and ears are perked up high, with two wings at its side and two little feet upon which it perches. Black colours the majority of the toy, with orange accenting the insides of its ears and underwings, as well as its belly and face. Two bright yellow eyes are embroidered to create the leaf-nosed bat's eyes, with black thread forming the irises. A string sprouts from the doll's back, which is simply begging to be pulled.
A high pitched shriek sounds from a spooky black and orange bat doll as you tug at the string attached to its back, giving you quite a fright!
You give a spooky black and orange bat doll a little tug, and a recorder embedded deep in the doll's belly begins to play a spooky song! Visions of skeleton armies and bats dance in your mind long after the music has faded.
As you tug a spooky black and orange bat doll the toy flaps its wings madly, causing it to fumble and flop about in a menacing display of black and orange cloth.
a ghostly dog with a pumpkin nose
This white dog is nothing more than mist and tendrils of shadows pulled together to create a canine body. Its eyes are bright red, however, they hold certain innocents within them. Its nose is tipped with a minute pumpkin that seems to be spotted in the likeness of a jack-o-lantern. This animal has no legs but seems to do fine with movement as it travels along the currents of the wind. Two pointed ears protrude from the top of its head, one slightly bent at the tip.
A ghostly dog with a pumpkin nose lets loose a few quick "arffs" as you place it on the ground.
A ghostly dog with a pumpkin nose nips quickly at your finger, snagging it lightly between its teeth as you poke it.
A ghostly dog with a pumpkin nose lets out a soft "arooo," as if it is sad to see the fun ending.
(It does other things, but didn't want to put them in here)
a coffin-shaped candy box
This small wooden box is only six inches in length and has been carefully shaped into a coffin. The smooth grain is painted a dark black, and shadowy tendrils skirt along the bottom, their long fingers wrapping around the entire base. The lid can be opened and closed, with a latch on the side. Inside the coffin is a soft, plush red velvet that is cushioned with some cotton underneath. It is strangely weightless. A coffin-shaped candy box is holding: "candy215687" some triangular sugary sweets "candy224898" a jack-o-lantern shaped candy "candy225563" a caramel apple "candy226580" a cat-shaped candy "candy226724" some triangular sugary sweets "candy227081" a caramel apple "candy228103" a cat-shaped candy "candy228653" a cat-shaped candy
a spiked stein filled with a foggy liquid
This metal stein is made to hold a large quantity of fluid, making it fairly difficult to empty it completely. The surface has been etched with a scene of a pumpkin patch, the ground covered in plump pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns, with a crow-dotted scarecrow in the distance. The fog that flows constantly from the top cascades over the stein, giving the scene an eerie look. Each pumpkin in the field is raised, making the surface bumpy to the touch. It weighs about 1 pound. It bears the distinctive mark of Evaldir. This container can hold up to 100 sips. Moradeim's Mayhem sloshes about in it.
an impish bat-winged fairy
Blessed with milky alabaster skin, this impish bat-winged fairy is a ravishing beauty. Her features are pale and delicate, with becoming wavelets framing her elegant countenance in curtains of sable tinged with lowlights of cerulean. Spreading out from her delicate shoulder blades are two bat-like wings, their expansive lengths able to enrobe her in swaths of benighted, leathery skin. Motes of darkness trail from behind the fae as she flits about, threatening to consume the room in eerie shadows.
An impish bat-winged fairy can learn 9 of the following skills. Skill Name Max % Possible Vermin 100% Fish 100% Stamina 90% Deliver 100% Fly 70% Obey 100% Retrieve 80% Listen 70% Circle 90% Swoop 70% Hide 95% Flee 100% Speed 85% Seek 75% Glance 85% Followother 100% Hunt 75%
a porcelain clown doll
This porcelain doll has been carefully hand painted to resemble a clown. Blue, red, and white paint are elegantly placed over the eyes and mouth, with big splotches of red upon the cheeks. The eyes are placed with cat-eye glass, giving them a near life-like look. The body is wrapped in silk cloth stuffed with cotton, the fabric decorated with blue and red diamonds lined in rows. The porcelain hands are covered in a pair of white gloves, while the feet are fitted with oversized red shoes. A squeaky red ball is placed on the nose, allowing someone to squeeze it. Topping its rainbow-hued curly hair is a pointy hat tipped with a giant white fuzzball.
A porcelain clown doll sings a haunting tune as its head slowly does a full turn, its eyes following you as it moves.
A porcelain clown doll tilts its head to the side and blinks rapidly as it raises its gloved hand to wave at you.
A porcelain clown doll offers you a wide grin as it says, "Do you wanna hear a joke?" It giggles slightly before whispering, "You're going to die."
A porcelain clown doll just sits frozen as the words, "Mama" repeat over and over again from its voicebox.
a frightening Month of Scares mobile
Created in homage to the Month of Scares, this frightful mobile suspends a variety of ghastly silhouettes. A hissing black cat hangs between an almost whimsical white ghost and the outline of a bat. The figure of a witch forms the fourth image, with a round orange pumpkin and yellow crescent moon completing the dreadful set. Each figure is sewn from plush felt cloth, with white thread hemming the edges to ensure the cotton stuffing within does not escape. A simple shepherd's crook of polished mahogany holds the mobile aloft, allowing one to push the ring which the cloth silhouettes hang from to send it spinning in place.
You reach out and push a frightening Month of Scares mobile, your fingertips brushing over one of its felt figures in the process.

I see those priest classleads... And priest probably does need some love? But now I am really wondering again. I haven't seen you play much yet, but I will say this. I sure didn't go to the trouble of trying to help break up the AM juggernaut that was standing around bored with no one to fight (I really didn't want to leave, no one did), so that my new side could be crushed by a new AM juggernaut that is possibly even stronger by the standards of "what's actually left". And most people probably have even less patience for that than I do - because they've been on the side that "can usually be relied upon to lose like a B-movie villain" for a lot longer.
I've been really encouraged by what Magick has right now and where we could go (especially if we could get another person or two), but if you become really active as an AM fighter that definitely changes things. And to me? 4 classleads for the class you're currently playing makes me think you're at least considering it. AM was... already good in the "excellent team combat leader that isn't made of paper department" (and in general). And leadership is such a huge component of winning fights.
You have to have people on the opposing side(s) who are willing to engage for this game to work - which means they need to have a real chance of not getting constantly stomped, not just in the occasional shardfall, but in fights that actually matter - the fights where people call in all the reinforcements they can. I really feel like this is a lot of what ACTUALLY broke the game in the first place and I sure hope we're not going straight back there. But if we are... oh well. And it is always everyone's choice to play how they will, where they will, but we all know that it actually matters where the very artifacted people go, and it especially matters where artifacted, seasoned combat leaders go (especially if they're actually active).
I've been really encouraged by what Magick has right now and where we could go (especially if we could get another person or two), but if you become really active as an AM fighter that definitely changes things.
Don't worry too much about me coming in to knock over your sand castle. Knocking over sand-castles is just sort of something that I do.
Hrm. New building code, cinder block castles with sand exterior >.>
Haha.
Being honest for a moment, there are three criteria necessary for me to write a Classlead: greatest need, test-ability, and interest.
It wouldn't do the game very much good for me to write Classleads for Mage, because even though they -need- them I only have a working knowledge about what specific changes would make greatest impact. A good Classlead is targeted at a specific aspect of a class that doesn't measure up**. I can only judge that if I'm able to work directly with the class in question. As a result, don't freak out that my current target is Priest.
(**This is why vague statements like 'doesn't do enough damage' or 'takes too long to kill' make bad classleads)
That does make sense (but yes, magick could certainly use a knowledgeable classlead guy because I am pretty sure our input was probably "nothing" and "worse than nothing" - I certainly didn't write any). I just really thought you were plotting your grand return, riding alongside Septus on your new indominus rex pet (or even just serving as a fill in quarterback that's way better than what anyone else has when he's not around) And a grand return would be fine, but not with what AM (still) has, compared to what everyone else has (if AM actually wants some fights, that is, and I think they do).
Perhaps if those who wanted to fight in Magick would actually put in the effort that AM has, rather than whining that they'll never be able to win a fight. Me/Ayden/Kabaal and Mathiaus had some fun fights (and Magick definitely has more man/artipower than us 4) with the AM crew that went both ways. Win some, lose some.

This small wooden box is only six inches in length and has been carefully shaped into a coffin. The
smooth grain is painted a dark black, and shadowy tendrils skirt along the bottom, their long
fingers wrapping around the entire base. The lid can be opened and closed, with a latch on the side.
Inside the coffin is a soft, plush red velvet that is cushioned with some cotton underneath.
It is strangely weightless.

a spiked stein filled with a foggy liquid
This metal stein is made to hold a large quantity of fluid, making it fairly difficult to empty it
completely. The surface has been etched with a scene of a pumpkin patch, the ground covered in plump
pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns, with a crow-dotted scarecrow in the distance. The fog that flows
constantly from the top cascades over the stein, giving the scene an eerie look. Each pumpkin in the
field is raised, making the surface bumpy to the touch.
Her features
are pale and delicate, with becoming wavelets framing her elegant countenance in curtains of sable
tinged with lowlights of cerulean. Spreading out from her delicate shoulder blades are two bat-like
wings, their expansive lengths able to enrobe her in swaths of benighted, leathery skin. Motes of
darkness trail from behind the fae as she flits about, threatening to consume the room in eerie
shadows.
An impish bat-winged fairy can learn 9 of the following skills.

a porcelain clown doll
This porcelain doll has been carefully hand painted to resemble a clown. Blue, red, and white paint
are elegantly placed over the eyes and mouth, with big splotches of red upon the cheeks. The eyes
are placed with cat-eye glass, giving them a near life-like look. The body is wrapped in silk cloth
stuffed with cotton, the fabric decorated with blue and red diamonds lined in rows. The porcelain
hands are covered in a pair of white gloves, while the feet are fitted with oversized red shoes. A
squeaky red ball is placed on the nose, allowing someone to squeeze it. Topping its rainbow-hued
curly hair is a pointy hat tipped with a giant white fuzzball.
A porcelain clown doll sings a haunting tune as its head slowly does a full turn, its eyes following
you as it moves.
A porcelain clown doll tilts its head to the side and blinks rapidly as it raises its gloved hand to
wave at you.
A porcelain clown doll offers you a wide grin as it says, "Do you wanna hear a joke?" It giggles
slightly before whispering, "You're going to die."
A porcelain clown doll just sits frozen as the words, "Mama" repeat over and over again from its
voicebox.
a frightening Month of Scares mobile
Created in homage to the Month of Scares, this frightful mobile suspends a variety of ghastly
silhouettes. A hissing black cat hangs between an almost whimsical white ghost and the outline of a
bat. The figure of a witch forms the fourth image, with a round orange pumpkin and yellow crescent
moon completing the dreadful set. Each figure is sewn from plush felt cloth, with white thread
hemming the edges to ensure the cotton stuffing within does not escape. A simple shepherd's crook of
polished mahogany holds the mobile aloft, allowing one to push the ring which the cloth silhouettes
hang from to send it spinning in place.
You reach out and push a frightening Month of Scares mobile, your fingertips brushing over one of
its felt figures in the process.
(may vanish for periods of time)
To second the above post: Nothing makes you fix system errors like getting your arse thoroughly handed to you. Yay @Septus / @Dreacor.

(Ring): You say, "That's clearly Celidon territory."

You reach out and hastily scrawl the Mark of the Dropbear on yourself.
Aw yissss. That 'kill' is sexy as hell. <3 whoever wrote it.
this could be the closest thing to the Legion's theme song:
[edit]: I wonder how often the graphic banner things like what is in my sig update.
Just saying.
