With a nod to an immense cyanine icewyrm, you leap forward and plunge a hunter's spear
into Shukron's chest. Just as you remove the spear, your wyrm follows the motion with a
burst of intensely frosty air directly into the wound. Shukron howls in agony as the
frigid breath courses through his veins and freezes his blood.
    You have slain Shukron.

    After submerging
    Shukron Vaz'rias says, "So broken."

  • It's not broken, it's weird.

Bleed isn't exactly hard to stack spamming micro on the bleed-pet. The worst part is that bloodfreeze picks up a huge damage modifier from a pretty low range of bleed. Once you use blood freeze to get that huge damage bonus, it doesn't cure bleed. It's pretty likely that the 2nd and 3rd blood freeze are going to do as much or a little less than the first one. I'd honestly even say that dry blood should cause damage upon clotting, but also increase clot's effectiveness.

[TARGET BLEEDING: 79] -> Should not be a 400 damage attack. This is easy as pie to stack up.

Outrider is a pretty awesome class. It's versatile, fun as hell and really dynamic for the outrider. (as opposed to jabjabjabjab, kill all the things). It just needs polishing on some of the mechanics (not nerfing).
  • Well, noob me didn't even have my spear blackened in that fight. So dryblood wasn't even a factor, making clot a very viable option for him. Sure it would have drained a good bit of his mana, but he wouldn't have died either.

  • The worst part is when you eat a a 500 damage blood freeze, followed by a 490 damage blood freeze.

Or, you're playing with Ozreas and he hits you for 800 on 50 bleed.
  • Extremely situational modifiers don't count Ahkan. Also I really though that bloodfreeze cured all their bleeding, else I would have been chaining another bloodfreeze if it didn't kill them :(

Yeah, I reincarnated clever for that fight and between the highfavor, artifacts, and benevolence my stats were Str: 18/11  Int: 20/15  Dex: 15/13  Con: 15/11.

You also didn't quote the one that proc'd emblazing, I'm sad.

Juran viciously slashes you with a Sukhder claymore!

    You are afflicted with sensitivity.

The corpse of a giant leech falls out of your inventory.
A linseed falls out of your inventory.
A gritty sandling falls out of your inventory.

Damage Taken: 179 fayth, mental (raw damage: 85)

Both of those are against Druid Khizan, as a note.

The big problem is really just that flare and emblazing scale way too well, and that they don't share sowulu's 1h-weapon restriction, so you can eat a claymore DSL along with it.

"On the battlefield I am a god. I love war. The steel, the smell, the corpses. I wish there were more. On the first day I drove the Northmen back alone at the ford. Alone! On the second I carried the bridge! Me! Yesterday I climbed the Heroes! I love war! I… I wish it wasn’t over."

  • At least 67 per slash is more believable than 112, DSL looked suspiciously like a powerful attack skill in that first quote.
  • The first one had no algiz and my crappy chainmail, and I had sensitivity for the entire thing.

The second one had runes, my good chainmail, and I didn't heal like a moron and eat sensitivity on the DSL itself.

  • With a 3.75s attack rate, you have to heal -really- badly to keep sensitivity between swings.

That said, I'm certain that I'd do more DPS (and less burst) as fast presuming I didn't mind burning out my runes faster too. Flare is 3.17s with a diadem, so there's no reason for me to use a DSL that's over a half second slower.
  • When I reloaded my druid system, I think I picked up a bit of legacy code from my old system that wrecked my balances.
