The only tricky situation that has come up for me is when using it in conjunction with alertness, especially if someone is following in your entourage.

Meh, I fixed that already. Ask for an update and stop pestering me about it. :P

And yes, this is what I need help with. Ideas, bugs, suggestions. And also documentation... It's kinda awkward for me when I don't write in my native language... :(

Wanted to get your mapper for ages since I was a newbie hearing people talk about it :D

Downloaded and thanks a tonne Whyte....

One question how do I use it? I have the file downloaded and unzipped but I dunno what to do from there :(

EDIT: Its not that I'm lazy and can't be bothered to figure it out.....I really am just this dense sometimes :P

You don't know what you're talking about. You don't know how convey the point of your posts. You don't know how to freaking use capitalization or spelling. These three things are the triumvirate that rules the forum's definition of gross stupidity.

I have MUSH.

You know how insanely difficult it is to find someone with the knowledge to code for MUSH? Even for credits?

It makes my heart hurt.

I'd use the mapper, but I still don't use Zmud heavily. <_<

Uh? What does the mapper and Zmud have to do with each other? Zmud is probably the least compatible client with it...

Whytes mapper is all that and a bag of potato chips. I've been using it since the days where it was a little console app, and its awesome. We should all tithe him credits.

Means you're using something else than Windows XP. It currently doesn't work with 95/98/ME, but it will soon. Really sorry about the inconveniences...

Just uploaded the Second Release. IMapper users should update only if they want the alertness issue fixed. Imperian Healer users should update because one vital file, 'options', was missing in the first release.

I said I'll give a few tips on how to get started, so I included a tiny readme.txt file:

readme.txt said:

Until the whole documentation will be written, this small guide will take its place.

Installing:
- Download MudBot and any modules you wish to use.
- Open the modules.txt file and make sure to uncomment all .dll's you have.
- Run mb-core, then iconize/minimize it.
- Connect with your MUD client at host 'localhost' port '123' (instead of 'imperian.com' port '23').
- Once connected to MudBot, type 'connect imperian.com 23'.
(all commands are listed under "`help")

Using the Voter module:
- Type 'vote'.
- Type 'vote'.
- Repeat steps 1 and 2 as often as you can.
(all options are listed under "vote help")

Using the IMapper module:
- If your room title's color is not the default brown, use the 'map color' command.
- Go in a place that is most likely mapped, and 'look'.
- If the area's name is shown, the 'map' command can be used.
- Experiment with the 'room find <name>', 'map path <vnum>' and 'go'/'stop' commands.
(all commands are listed under "map help")

If you have problems, message Whyte on Imperian, WhyteTheTelepath on AIM, or email at <edited because of spam paranoia>.

Nope, I didn't. Their licenses conflict with the GNU General Public License, so I couldn't include them. Just download and install them yourself. :)
