The gold drops seem on par for most areas of these difficulties, honestly. Maybe slightly lower, but you also have to account for the 5000 gold you receive for finishing each of the (many) grindy quests. Gold drops + turn-ins + quest rewards add up …

Honestly, I think a lot could be accomplished by only doing a few things.
