On the flip side, if one person defending can hold off an entire raiding force in a straight up melee then you're guaranteed it'll become timezones, because if you can't kill one person you definitely can't kill five or whatever. I agree one person …

Its been that way since we got the statue, so probably since release I'd guess.

Alternatively you could reset leylines every (ballpark?) 4 game years, if you want it to be more fluid and keep people invested. Alternatively could have up to x leylines have a chance to neutralise every X rl days or something. Purely brainstorming…

I agree defence bugs are very important, because it gives a more accurate representation of the state of things.
That said, if the above is a remotely accurate state of things, that is a problem. Noone wants to play against random passive… -
The key distinction is that there's a big difference between coming close to winning and winning. Regardless of if people didn't feel up to defending or not, Antioch won that raid: at the end of the day, that is irrefutible. It might suck (losing us…

Could we get the ability to filter the RAID OBJECTIVES output by objective type and/or city? RAID OBJECTIVES STANDARD, RAID OBJECTIVES ANTIOCH, RAID OBJECTIVES KINSARMAR STATUE etc.

Siege changes seem pretty good.

The problem is you only need one healer, because the healer will keep any focussed target at full health unless you can kill that person within the tick window. That window is very, very small. Multiple healers are pretty much redundant for this pur…

(Quote) Looks like surges to me, so maybe leyline related. Just a guess though.

Yeah, we actually tried the standard this time because Aranel kept almost murdering our dragger (and you basically require either someone to draw her aggro or to be a terror aspect, because she fears too, so you get feared out mid drag etc). I have …

I really wanted to test this before saying anything, to be sure to avoid making sweeping assumptions.
But this just doesn't really solve the issue. I took my five most artied dudes … -
Illucidate?

Maybe objectives should reset to their starting positions (if in the owner's city) when the raid properly kicks off, so people can't drag them behind locked doors or whatnot once the wardrums get sounded.

So, I've finally managed to do a second raid. Some feedback:
- Siege kind of makes things a nightmare. Two reasons:
* Bolt throwers throw people all over the place, so actually staying on an objective to drag it is extremely difficul… -
Prismatic removal was probably one of the best things that could be done for the imperian pvp scene. If you killed a competent person one v one who owned a lyre as almost any class it was because they were feeling sporting, and I'd wager there is no…

I wonder sometimes if @Ultrix ever regrets dragging me off the bench. I'm pretty sure I heard the facepalm from here.

Ones that stand out as being problematic (with some ideas):
Efficiency 3: obviously has to go, entirely breaks the system. You could potentially change it to allow the bonus energy (attainable with 100k gold put into the generator to boos… -
Shaman:
Very good at basically everything. Steap learning curve compared to a lot of classes. Has some of the most potent team abilities (totems, vortex, can probably throw cure denial on that list). All around really good. I wouldn't say… -
(Quote) Not sure about that. You shouldn't need to have both the investment in experience and artefacts that I do to go assassinate someone in a city, IMO. That might be an unpopular opinion, but I think it should be doable by anyone with a reason…

I'll note I'm not sure outposts defending outposts is the problem - the problem is really that I can do what I am currently doing in Antioch and put 3 outposts blocking 1 12 hour slot and 2 outposts blocking the other one. No need to have outposts d…

Not going to address the first part, but as for the latter half: half the battle of playing the obelisk system well is in the prep. The fight obviously matters, but a lot of work goes into the obelisk planning if you have people who … -
Except a fully kitted imperian player has less max health than a level 20 on any other game, I think it'd be over pretty fast.
Damn over compensating 8k hp people.
On topic: I think you need to decide if this will be a system f… -
Not really any concrete thoughts yet, but:
Its not possible to raid at the moment. Its not been possible to raid a city with a competent person online for years (unless you're willing to throw like 15 people into a meat grinder over and o… -
I experienced Kyrock.
That said, not at all interested in the automation debate. Imo, people should do what they enjoy, because that's why they're here. I know I will! -
Its an unfortunate reality now that a lot of the hugely artefacted guys are gone that the few outliers that we do have active atm are a lot more problematic in that respect.
Hopefully we'll pick up some more artefacted monster retirees (s… -

But in all seriousness, you're probably going to be disappointed if you base the meta around what I'm doing. The reality is you need hybrid offenses…
