  • (Quote) Until you follow someone.
  • What I'm saying is that bards have enough shenanigans and poor mechanics that Imperian doesn't really need more silly classes.
  • (Quote) You apparently don't know bard.
  • (Quote) Bard is already a thing.
  • I don't really have a lot to add to this other than:  Just because something is or isn't overpowered, does NOT make it a good mechanic.
  • No. It depends on your OS. For windows its in the User directory sub folders.

This link talks about a similar approach to what I did: http://forums.mudlet.org…
  • I think there are advanced ways to do it within Mudlet to autodownload from db at load; however, I did it the easy way and just used virtual folder/links with the dropbox sync folder on each location and kept the profile folders sync'd.  Seemed to w…
  • (Quote) The mob thing is likely due to the way gmcp works. IRE doesn't send the room data on room change when following. It's annoying and I IDEA'd it a while back.

Edit: forgot to mention...you can make it send the data if you ql in t…
  • (Quote) Or the real reason....Septus doesn't need it (track pet/mask/raksha/etc/etc) and there is no one else willing to go after it. :)

  • Perthyn is furrier than I imagined.
  • It doesn't really appear that you are clotting very smart to be honest. It shouldn't drain you that fast. It should be more a process/attrition.

Were you sipping mana over health?

You should also have bandages/moss tattoo work…

  • Being able to frontload damage where the class isn't designed for it doesn't seem worthless.  Or you know, kaibanish a heavy hitter out of a teamfight from the start.

None of the skills themselves are really a problem, it's the …

    Your dog looks funny.
  • (Quote) I agree which is why I said it wasn't exactly game-breaking.  But that doesn't put it in the column of 'good' or 'interesting' mechanics either.

And pre-charging kai can be used for more than just deliverance.

  • (Quote) That in no way prevents pre-charging.  It only makes it a little less trolly.

  • Tbh, not a bad model for the high int stacking classes too: mage, summoner, etc.

Alternatively, consider a max +stat limit similar to regen capping.
  • (Quote) Non-game breaking doesn't mean that it's a great mechanic.  Kai you can also precharge (can/has/will be done) and also breeds skills like deliverance.

Druid used to be this way too, where you could charge up/maintain…

  • (Quote) Sarcasm, yes....but more, any skill that charges/gains momentum by a mechanic that is not actively initiated by the person is generally awful.

  • Let's be honest, knights are basically tidalslashing every L3 reave/reave combo these days. :(

  • (Quote) Not sure what you mean here.  Zith threw yellow/purple bonedust at himself and inflicted himself with jinx.

  • Also, does anyone else feel that prismatic should effectively kill off any momentum mechanic? You shouldn't be able to drop prismatic -> end game finisher.

  • The last is jinx I believe.
